This process is not yet an approved Make launch process. It will apply to existing public fewertools content where relevant, but the Make-specific procedure, staffing, jurisdictions, and response commitments remain release-blocked pending specialist review.
Submit a notice
Email clinton@fewertools.com with the subject "Rights or takedown notice". Include:
- Your name, organization if applicable, email, and authority to act.
- The exact Fewertools URL, project reference, or other location at issue.
- The work, person, mark, private information, or other right you believe is affected.
- A clear explanation of the concern and the outcome you request.
- Evidence of ownership, authorization, identity, consent status, or other basis for the notice.
- A statement that the information is accurate and provided in good faith.
Do not send unnecessary identity documents, complete media files, passwords, or sensitive information by email. We may ask for a safer evidence method when needed.
How we respond
- We aim to acknowledge a sufficiently identified notice within five business days. This is a service target, not a guaranteed legal deadline.
- We check whether the notice identifies the material, right, reporter, requested action, and evidence needed for a fair review.
- We may temporarily restrict public access, stop processing, preserve limited evidence, or ask for more information where the reported risk warrants it.
- We may notify the affected user and give them a fair chance to respond unless law, safety, privacy, or an investigation prevents it.
- We decide and communicate the action as promptly as the evidence, risk, and applicable law allow.
Possible actions include no action, attribution correction, removal, access restriction, project deletion, account or token restriction, warning, suspension, termination, or referral to a provider or authority. We may not be able to share confidential, private, or legally restricted details.
Response and restoration
If your material or access is restricted, you may reply with the notice reference, identify the decision you dispute, explain your authority or other basis, and provide supporting evidence. We will review the response and may maintain, change, or reverse the restriction. Restoration is not automatic and may require specialist advice, provider action, a court order, or another formal process.
Knowingly false, misleading, abusive, or retaliatory notices and responses are prohibited and may themselves lead to restrictions.
Repeat and serious infringement
Where appropriate and lawful, Fewertools may warn, restrict, suspend, or terminate a person who repeatedly infringes rights or repeatedly submits unauthorized sources. We consider the number, timing, severity, credibility, user response, reversals, and risk of recurrence rather than relying on an unreviewed automatic count. A single serious case can justify immediate action.
Records, privacy, and deletion exceptions
We keep notice, response, decision, action, and repeat-infringer records only as needed to operate the process, prevent abuse, comply with law, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. A project deletion request does not promise deletion of the minimal takedown, incident, fraud, payment, tax, refund, chargeback, or support record that must be retained. Access is limited to authorized reviewers and providers with a need to know.
Source media and transient derivatives remain subject to the 24-hour Fewertools deletion rule unless a documented legal hold requires preservation. We will record the hold, restrict access, and delete the retained material when the hold ends.
Jurisdictions and emergency concerns
Make public acquisition is supported in no jurisdiction while specialist review is pending. The final notice, counter-notice, response, and repeat-infringer process may differ by country.
